Just a few short months ago Marcus went into the hospital for a tonsilectomy and returned with a diagnosis of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. The doctors were stumped by this unique origin of leukemia that flowed through his central nervous system.Marcus endured months of radiation and chemo therapy to no avail. The T-cells that flowed through his spine were ruthless and took the strength from his arms, hands, and knees. He was incredibly strong and positive throughout the entire process and fought even to the end. Marcus was a gentle giant loved by everyone. Throughout this process he maintained his faith in God's will and was always concerned about the needs of everyone else. For those that knew Marcus know this world is at a loss without him. Marcus was a great friend to OffDaChain Divas, and we want to support him and his family through these times. Thank you for standing with us!
The Turner family is so thankful for all the continued prayers and support that are being sent our way from friends and loved ones. Your contribution to this cause is greatly appreciated. These funds will go directly towards Marcus' medical bills, related hospital fees, and hospice care. Marcus spent over 5 months in the hospital receiving care. Any extra funds will go towards additional research on this unique strand of T-cell Leukemia.

This year OffDaChain Divas had great representation at the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk on October 26, 2013. It was a wonderful experience to walk and give support to the fight again breast cancer. The weather is great for walking and a perfect way to come together as a league at the end of the season. We look forward to participating next year!
